About

Hello. My name is Audrey and I am a Craftaholic. It has been 3 days since I've been in an actual craft store. Does online shopping count?

My goal with crafting and CroftonCraftaholic has always been to find ways to bring others joy and smiles. In the beginning it was by making things for my girls or handmade gifts for friends and family that showed that I cared enough to put thought into something special just for them.

I spent (gasp) decades as an engineer before the pandemic landed me at home eLearning with my kids and trying to stay busy. I love trying to figure out how to do and make things and I really enjoy designing special, thoughtful gifts that make the receiver smile and feel loved.

After deciding to branch out to selling crafts in the local community, in December 2020 I made over 100 elf masks, mini lysol cans, and quarantine jars to bring smiles to kids as their elves arrived. It probably brought me even more joy knowing I had touched each one of those children’s hearts with a little Christmas spirit. It was worth the late nights of sewing after the kids were in bed. So, at the beginning of 2021 I took Crofton Craftaholic beyond Crofton with my Etsy shop, hoping to spread even more smiles. I love that my custom chalk, custom paint your own sets, embroidery projects, bracelets, and myriad of other personalized gifts are now doing that for kids all over the country. And I do mean all over the county, from New England to Florida, California, Washington, and even Hawaii!

Thank you for all of your encouragement and support.
